I try not to be guilty of this, lol. It always kinda annoyed me, too. I mean...one of the main ideas behind graphic novels is the idea that you can express in image instead of word. Why not take fullest advantage of that?

The irony is not lost on me, Mademoiselle.

Sometimes you just have to do a little jig. But just a little one.

I'm not sure what prompted this and I'm afraid the irony is lost on me, but it's got truth to it. I'm known for being "too wordy" in my comics, but even I always start a new story with little to no dialogue or narration. Pith is mysterious and makes people want to learn more, and as we know, brevity is the soul of wit.

Teachings!
I lov how your mouth in the second panel extends behind the neck-bit. Or at least touches it, because it looks like it extends behind the neck-bit.
What do you call that neck-bit?

Don't forget...

Save it now...

Or risk doing it again!

Man, I know that I'll skip comics that start out TL;DR... Even if I like a comic I'll be kind of legarthic about reading a huge speech.

The reason why I never read GTO: Paragrapghs crammed into speech bubbles.
